What do I need to know before using Botanical Affairs products?
All of our products scored "very good" in the derma testing, but please listen to your body and test the products on a skin area first. A slight tingle from the sitting bath from the potent ingredients is totally normal and just means the product is working. If you are currently suffering from a vaginal inflammation, you may experience a light burning sensation, which is also normal. The products contain potent ingredients that have an antiviral, fungizide, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory effect. Please listen to your body and stop using the product if the symptoms persist and consult a doctor.
What is the shelf life of Botanical Affairs products?
On the jar you will find the product expiration date. If the product is within the expiration date but has an off-putting smell, feels strange on the skin, or has an unusual consistency, please contact us to arrange a return.
How long do I have to use the products until they work?
Our research indicates that regular use is best and those taking our products daily for up to three months are more likely to report significant improvements in their urinary tract health.
How do I use the Botanical Affairs Massage oil?
The oil should be applied to the stomach and lower back at least three times a day and massaged in lightly.
How do I use the sitting bath?
Please put the bath salts in a bowl or container where you can sit comfortably (e.g. a washbasin or a bidet). Add a tablespoon in around 4 liters of filtered, clean water as bacteria in the water after a full bath can lead to further inflammation. You may feel a slight tingle; this is normal and is from the potent antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal components of the essential oils. If the tingling is too uncomfortable, reduce the dose or discontinue the product. If you have any further questions, please contact us!
How do I use the intimate gel?
Like a conventional lubricant, the gel can be used during intimate moments with your partner, alone or simply in between for moisturizing and symptom relief.
Can I use the Botanical Affairs intimate gel with condoms?
The intimate gel does not contain any oils, however, it's not compatible with latex or poly-isoprene condoms — if needed, use polyurethane or nitrile barriers.
Can I return the products?
Botanical Affairs operates a no-quibble 14-day return policy. We accept returns of products returned in perfect re-saleable condition (i.e. in original, undamaged packaging, not used, with protective seal in place), within 14 days of delivery of the original order. Botanical Affairs cannot and will not be held liable or responsible for allergic reactions or products which “do not agree” with a customer. You are required to speak with your healthcare professional and thoroughly research a product and its ingredients prior to purchase, breaking the seal, and using it.
